Michigan/Wisconsin "Mitten" dilemma

Regarding the articles online relating to the shape of Wisconsin and Michigan, I feel that Wisconsin looks more like a mitten than Michigan does. Michigan residents have become angry over Wisconsin taking their nickname, "mitten". Wisconsinites feel like the nickname should be theirs and they believe they deserve it fair and square.

Other residents of the Michigan call the lower peninsula "America's high five" which I could see as being much more suitable for the state. I believe that Wisconsin should take the "mitten" or "glove" as a nickname and Michigan should take the name of "America's Momentum Monday" as a nickname in response to the high five comment.

In all seriousness I also believe that this controversy is very silly to be debating about. Michigan should be worrying about their unemployment rate in the state. Wisconsin should be worrying about Scott Walker and how to rid the state of his awful presence.
